There is one reason that I shoot in Black & White. Things always seem more interesting. When looking at a color image one tends to focus on the colors. When looking at Black & White Photography one tends to focus more on the subject, the contrast, and perhaps, the mood of the image. I feel it is much more interesting to see the larger picture and to do that one must get past all the colors.
All photographs presented in this site are the original works of Carlos Gonzalez. They are personally printed using traditional darkroom techniques and methods.
